TASTER DAYS
Taster Days give prospective students the opportunity to experience Gordonstoun and our world leading curriculum first hand.
Prep School and Year 9 Taster Days are open to those who’ve decided to join us and those keen to discover more, with no charge and no obligation.
It is an excellent chance for prospective students to get to know each other and many friendships are forged on these days.
For parents, there are opportunities to explore our campus and speak with our staff. We also hope you will try our award-winning food.
VIRTUAL TASTE OF GORDONSTOUN WEBINAR
Running throughout the year, our webinars are a popular choice for parents wanting a softer introduction to Gordonstoun.
During the online session, prospective families explore our coastal campus, chat to our Principal, hear from students and teachers and get a flavour of the world-leading character education we provide.
VISIT DAYS
Our ‘Getting to Know Gordonstoun Days’ allow families to explore what it's like to be a part of our vibrant community, in small groups. At these days families will enjoy:
- A tour of the campus
- A boarding house visit
- An individual walk and talk session with a member of our faculty, to learn more about our uniquely broad curriculum
- A personal interview with either our Principal or Head of Senior School
- Meetings with staff from our specialist departments
- A Q+A session with our School Leadership, Curriculum Specialists, Pastoral Staff and current students
With limited availability, we encourage you to book in advance.
PRIVATE TOURS
For parents who want a private tour, we are very happy to tailor your visit and get to know you individually. You are welcome any morning in term time, Monday to Saturday, and we are always delighted if you join us for lunch.
During your visit, you will meet the admissions team and the Headmaster, tour the school with a current student and see one of our boarding houses.
It’s best to visit during term time - students are around so it gives you a great sense of our school - but if your only option is to come during the holidays we will do our very best to accommodate your plans.
Gordonstoun is easy to get to and we are happy to give advice on travel and local accommodation. We’ll even pick you up from Aberdeen or Inverness airports or Elgin station (free of charge).
